The Individual heats of Star Event will take place on December 3rd 2022, during session Α. Two relay events will take place on 4thof December, again in parallel with Section A.

Declaration of interest to participate accepted until November 20th  2022. Final registrations as described in 1.16. There is no associated cost for the participation to the Open Star Event.

The program of the Star Event will only include the specific events, selected by the well-known Greek Swimmers and the famous Foreign Swimmers who are going to participate in our Meeting. Panathinaikos’ AC swimmers, Anna Ntoutounaki, Kristian Golomeev and Theodora Drakou will be present. In addition many other high level and Olympians from other Greek Swimming Clubs will join us.   

The one and only US Swimmer Ryan Lochte and the great Michael Andrew will be present too.

It is expected that 8 to 10 events will take place, in one final heat of 8 swimmers. The rest of the entries will be allocated based on the best times from May 2022 onwards. Thus, as soon as the schedule of the Trophy is announced, athletes from Greece and abroad may express interest.

In addition, one heat in the form of demonstration with official time recording will take place, with the participation of well-known swimmers of the Paralympic categories.

All participants of sessions Α and Β are entitled and highly encouraged to be present at the Star Event. The same applies to the coaches and the club’s management teams

The entrance of the spectators will be free of charge. The option for spectators to be able to donate an amount of their choice, via a formal procedure, directly to a charity association will be assessed.

A detailed presentation of the three best swimmers (based on the recorded timings) per race, will take place.

Medals and Prizes will be awarded, to the three first winners. Commemorative medals will be awarded to the swimmers from 4th to 8th positions.
